As the end of 2021 is approaching, all of us at Boda Games look back on the past year. While it has been a tumultuous year in many aspects, we like to focus on the positive aspects. The first one being that in 2021, we were able to make a lot of board and card games for our customers. That we hope brought a lot of fun times and joy to board gamers around the world. But we did a lot more than that! So let’s look back at some of our highlights from the past year.

Template Generator

Without a doubt one of our proudest achievements this year, our template generator. Based on feedback from our customers, we realized that the barrier between having artwork and having it print ready was still high. So we sought to find a method to lower this barrier. And one of the things we came up with was a template generator. No longer do you have to make your own templates. When you are working on a board game or a card game, the Boda Games template generator is all you need to make sure all your files are ready for printing.

 

Artwork Guidelines

In addition to our Template Generator, we also launched our encompassing Artwork Guidelines this year. We tried our very best to put every single put of information you will ever need. To prepare your board game or card game artwork files. All in one easy to search PDF file. No more delays from artwork mistakes, follow the guide!

 

Youtube Channel

After we launched our template generator, we started looking for the next way we could give back to the community. Make board game and card game artwork easier to understand. Easier to prepare for printing. And we realized that nothing is as easy as seeing how it is done! So we started making videos showing how to prepare artwork files. And we started our own Youtube Channel, Boda Games Manufacturing on Youtube! Hoping that people who are confused about it can find guidance and answers in them.

 

Essen 2021

Without a doubt, one of the highlights of the year for Boda Games was being able to participate in the Essen Spiel 2021 show. We had an amazing time being able to connect with board game fans from all over the world. And meeting publishers and game developers again. It was great to see everyone, show them our latest games and our sample box as well as see the fans who make our entire industry possible. We are looking forward to our next show, the Nuremberg Spielwarenmesse in 2022, and hope that we can continue to attend conventions again in 2022.
